Counting files, folders and space consumption

There are so many good reasons to keep track of files & folders, how much space they’re taking up, when the last one was created, the list can go on and on.

I’ve included some scripts which might prove to be useful. You could run them against local directories or UNC paths just the same.

File & folder counts.

File & folder counts for items over 30 days old. This can be easily modified to monitor new files created in X amount of days if you have a need for that.

DELETE files and/or folders over 30 days old. I purposely included the -whatif switch in case you go commando and run the script before testing it.

Files & folders disk space utilization.

Now you can do stuff; and like always, test in production.
